Hamburg Port Authority

The Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) is seeking additional and/or replaceable measurement methods to achieve faster, more efficient, and cost-effective asset management. On behalf of Fugro Germany GmbH, we conducted a pilot in the first half of 2023 in which 12 DeltaCubes were installed on a quay wall to investigate whether this innovation could deliver comparable results to traditional survey methods. The results showed that high-frequency DeltaCube measurements (multiple measurements per day) indicate accuracies on the order of millimeters, comparable to existing data acquisition techniques such as leveling and Total station measurements.
